Never seen anything like it.
Same on both sides.
Just that old timey looking 25 and nothing else.
No manufacturer's initials, no other words, symbols or anything...stymied.
Probably from the turn of the last century to the 30's but just a guess.

Very cool looking token, congrats! It almost looks like a poker chip, or some sort of gaming chip, but I've never seen them made of metal.
 
It is called a Maverick token. I have a ton of different denominations that I will never know what they were used for. By the numbers, I can tell it is old but that will be about all. Sorry

Could it be some of that "money" that mining companies paid to their workers, that was intended only for use in the company's store?
