So I found this a couple weeks ago and it my first real gold find. After research I'm almost positive it's rose gold (14k) which is why it doesn't have that golden luster. Should I get it appraised if so at what kind of establishment (jewelry store, pawn shop). I want to reinvest it's worth back into my hobby but where if it's worth anything substantial should I sell it? Lastly any ideas of value?

My unprofessional opinion is that it's actually brass and was probably once gold plated. :) Cool find, get it looked at by a jeweler...

Rose gold is a gold/copper mix and will tarnish. Only a percentage of the metal is gold. I dont know what percentage. Nice find though.

Why don't you take an old toothbrush and some flitz polish to it and see if the gold color
Comes back.

Unless it's 24k, all gold has copper content for durability.
14k is normally 58.3% gold.

A jeweler should be able to test that ring for gold.

Clean it up and get it tested, ie. pawn shop, then try to sell on here. Congrats cool looking ring.

Went and had it tested, the verdict is...plated. Darn, oh well tomorrow is a new day never know what the dirt holds.
