DIGGER27
In Memory Of
Need to buy a new hunting trash/tool pouch but decided to wait until after Christmas to avoid any shipping hassles, some of the post office people in my area sometimes have trouble reading addresses and delivering packages to the correct homes during normal times.
Don't think I will have any trouble paying for the thing after this.
Here is how it all went down if you want to read this novel...
We hit Shoneys before parking at the casino, got there about 4:00 and got our room.
Usually I get a free one but we hadn't been there for a few months so I only got a discounted rate instead.
Had to pay $89 this time which I wasn't thrilled about but the wife had plans to visit her son in California for the holidays and those plans fell through and she was sad so I knew she enjoys staying there in those nice rooms as a break from life and I said what the heck, worth it to pay to make her happy.
Plus we both love the buffet.
If I lose in the casino I always win when we hit that place.
She stayed up in the room to take a nap on the very comfy beds they have and I went down to the casino.
I had $10 in free play they gave me and the first machine I sat down at I used 50 cents of that money and on the very first spin I won $53...I hoped this meant it was going to be a lucky trip but little did I know what was in store for me later.
By midnight I was down about $200 which isn't bad, great actually, considering I was playing for about 8 hours straight by that time.
I was thinking about quitting and going to bed, I had lost enough, but I checked my acct.to see if I had any extra free play for all the money I had played and noticed I had $100 in promotional money the casino had dumped in there I didn't realize I had.
Lucky event #2.
From 6-9 pm every half hour they gave $100 in free play to a few players, I won one of those prizes but didn't notice till I checked my acct.
That $100 started a small winning streak.
I was playing the very popular Dragon Spin and dumped the whole thing in there.
I worked that machine like a job for about an hour and a half, hit a bunch of bonuses and eventually got it up to $700.
Went down to about $632 and I was done.
Won my money back and more, had hours of fun so at 1:30 am it was time to go to bed.
On the way back to our room I noticed and stopped at one machine I like...Fu Nan Fu Nu.
5 different bets from 88 cents up to $8.80 with multipliers at 1-2-3-4 and 5 as you move up
I rarely go over the 88 cent minimum bet on this thing but splurged and spent more just to get rid of the $32, (or win), and then get to bed... $3.52...a 3x's multiplier bet.
Sat next to a nice old guy playing the same machine talking while we played.
Won some, lost some and got down to near that $600 mark when a dragon flew across the screen then the machine flashed "LUCK HAS ARRIVED" which means I was about to win either free games or a big line hit... it was a huge line hit.
Coin shows and fireworks flashing and going off all over the screen.
I looked at the little line on the bottom of the screen that tells you your winning total as the machine is adding up and I swear I see 44616 on this 1 cent slot between all the fireworks, $446.16 I thought and I was much more than just happy.
The old guy next to me laughed and said look again.
The number was actually 44616000... $4461.60.
I think I fell off my chair at that point.
I know I started to laugh as a crowd gathered around me.
About $5,000 in winnings between the last two machines using free money they gave me...what is better than that?
Just thrilling, now I wonder how much an $8.80 5x's bet would have won, don't even want to do the math.
Trust me, I have absolutely no regrets.
They paid me in mostly a check but I also got a little extra playing cash and also something else...an entry ticket for a special drawing they are going to have next month only for recent jackpot winners.
One ticket will be picked from a big drum and they award the winner another $15,000.
Gotta be present to win so guess where I will be on that day to see if this lucky streak still continues?
I had a real great Christmas...hope y'all did too!
