I see 2 TD Banks here in New England USA no longer have those free coin counting machines for customers! Too bad TD Bank! Anyone else notice this? HH

There is a reason, these coin counters seemed to be as good at counting coins as a 4 year old and ripped off just about everyone that used them.
Curiously, they always seemed to be off in the bank's favor, never the customer's.

Rossin Reports tested a whole lot of different machines awhile ago and results were eye opening.
Most were fine, Coinstars were right on every time but the 5 TD machines they tried were off by a few cents on some and a few bucks on another.
On one they dumped in $300 and the machine forgot to count over $43.

Be happy they are gone.
There is a proposed class action suit against them if you were a user.
