Had a great day hunting with my bud The Wolf.

It's been about 2 years since our last adventure and it was fun to hunt with him again today.

I tried a little bottle digging and nothing great there but I did hang on to one embossed ~1940's "Dr. Ellis' Quick Dry Waving Fluid". I have to get better tools for bottle digging.

The coins were both firsts for me and only about 2 feet part.

I didn't do any videos this time around but here are my keepers and The Wolf will post his when he gets a chance.

Don't know much about bottles looks cool, but those coins are killer, congrats!

Super hunt, I had a great time digging with ya. It was a great day to be in the woods. We'll have to do it again soon. I brought my finds to work with me today. I'll clean them up and post them on this same thread. Congrats on the amazing coinage dude!

Wow those are two very hard to find coins and you found them both 2 feet apart...that's awesome!! Huge congrats!!

Great hunting! Man I love bottle digging, took the back seat when I picked up a minelab  I'll be back at it again eventually though, congrats on the early nickel duo!

Huge thanks to Scott for taking me out digging. If you guys follow my posts, or lack thereof, you'll know it ain't too easy for me to get out these days. All my free time goes to my kids. But I'm not complaining cause daddy life rocks. I just don't get to dig relics like I used to.

Here's my keepers from the hunt. I scored a sweet little soldier carved bullet for the collection. Maybe a homemade button??? Got a button back, most likely from an eagle button. I crushed it with my fingers. It was so fragile it must've been missing most of the front. At least that's what I'm telling myself to feel better about mashing it.

Also got a .69 musket ball, a colt pistol bullet, a brass D buckle (horse related I guess), and a mystery brass item. My thoughts are a padlock key hole cover, but we were thinking it looks like a piece to an epaulet/shoulder scale.

The iron pieces are a buckle, and I think a handle to a curry comb....Not sure though. It does look very familiar.

Thanks for looking and let me know on the mystery pieces.

Thanks again Scott. I very much enjoyed the bro-time!
