I can't make that out either but I don't believe they hold much cash value its more of historical/personal find value. maybe a collector would correct me if I'm wrong.

You are missing a tab in the triangular area as shown below.

Still a nice find.

What you have there is a suspender buckle. Not really worth anything except to you. The date is the patent date. Nice save!
