Its good plan...
One time I was in north of Germany searching on the beach, but havent a lot of time..so I find only some Eu coins...but one time I want to repeat it with more time, sleep in the car and all day searching ...

I found a dog tag with Russian writing while detecting the beach at Cocoa Beach, Florida.
It turned out to be a participant's metal for competing in a version of a military triathalon event.

Cool finds either way. I like the photos of the military buildings. Like Lett said, be very careful when hunting on those sites as you never know what chemicals or ammunitions were left behind by the troops.
