Southwest New Mexico

I am fairly new to the hobby and looking for some fellow detectorists in southwest New Mexico. I am right outside Silver City. I recently upgraded from a Bounty Hunter Tracker IV to a Garrett AT Pro. I am looking for old ghost towns in the area . I tried signing up for the local metal detecting group, but a month later and I still have not heard anything from them. Please let me know if you are in my area. I look forward to hearing from you guys.
