On Wednesday nights, Sue and I go to the Mohegan Sun casino and we each "invest" a Twenty Dollar Bill. We play VERY slowly and can usually make the twenty last for a couple of hours. Most times we even go home with part of the twenty still in our pockets and once in a while get lucky and come home with more than we started with. This particular Wednesday, Sue got lucky and hit a "four deuces" and went home just over fifty dollars richer than when she started :money:. Fate was good to me too because shortly after sitting at the bar to play video poker, this FIFTY dollar bill was staring up at me from the floor. It was folded in half just as in the photo.:money:

should have turned that in to "lost & found!" it's the "right" thing to do!
must have been "grocery" money! I'm just sayin'

(h.h.!)
j.t.

I'm just sayin'.....If it was grocery money it shouldn't have found its way into a casino.

Since you did not have a detector in your hand this is clearly an illegal "eyeball find"

PM me for my address so you can send it to me for proper disposal. :D

For a second there I thought you were going to tell us you were kicked out of the Casino for bringing your AT Max into the Casino.....goode find.

The Covid thing put a damper on both casinos around here. Now that they're back open for business they're looking for customers. They probably wouldn't even kick me out if I was driving a tank inside.

I'm having my attorney look into this situation. If by chance he informs me that this was indeed an illegal "eyeball" find, I will be more than happy to ship it to you as soon as you send me the $75.00 shipping and handling fee. :realitycheck:

Yup, gamblers are free and loose with their money at casinos. I have seen quite a few people drop a bill or two while walking. The cash gets scooped up in a blink of an eye. I don't think I've ever seen someone try to catch up with the person who dropped it in an attempt to return the cash. I probably wouldn't bother, either. As they say, "A fool and their money are soon parted."

Freebird I must be the exception to the rule. A few years back while at a casino in the New Orleans area I witnessed a older Asian woman get up from a machine and start walking towards me. As she approached she dropped something and hurried on past me without knowing that she had dropped it. I saw it fall and after she passed I bent over and picked it up. I was shocked and just stood there for about 10 seconds. I then came to my senses and took off after her and finally catching up with her. What she had dropped was a wad of 100 dollar bills folded in half. The doubled over stack was at least 1" thick and held thousands of dollars. When I stopped her and showed her the money she just looked at me in disbelief and reached out to grab it. I pulled it back, as fear showed in her eyes I asked it this was hers. Then I reached out and gave it to her. She turned on a spot smaller than a half dime and disappeared into the crowd without saying a word. By the way she had just gotten up from a 100 dollar machine winning 400 dollars.
