This morning was a chilly 31 degrees and being that it’s my last morning in iN for a couple weeks, I put on my big boy pants and warmest clothes then made my way to the neighborhood park. I gridded the soccer field for about an hour. My toes were getting quite cold so after finding about 10 zincolns and a few dimes, I headed towards the basketball hoops. I went around the edge and found the rest of the clad pictured. As I had about enough of the cold that I could possibly stand, I started making my way towards the road to head back to the house, the Nox hit a high tone...a nice solid silver tone.

Well guys, after digging this one last plug, there it was sitting in the bottom of the hole smiling at me. A sterling silver mother’s ring. Although it’s missing a couple stones, it’s still a beautiful ring. I headed back to the house to warm up, clean the clad and the ring. Once again it was a great 2 hour hunt with a clad total over $3.00 and a silver ring!

Have a great day and HH!

Eric

I hear ya. Although personally would like to find more old silver coins, that why I appreciate the opportunity to hunt with you in NY and the ability to travel to increase my chances. Indiana has potential but the NE is far superior in the old finds category.

Hahahaha nah I was in Nw Indiana for the weekend. If it were 31 in Punta Gorda I’d be moving further South.
