Hello everyone,

Just signed up and just getting into Metal Detecting. Just wanted a hobby to get my old ass up and moving around after working behind a desk all day. My best bud has been doing this for a few years and loves it so I thought I'd give it a try myself.

Gear will be arriving today and tomorrow.

(my wife and I are originally from Baltimore before moving here about 13 years ago, I don't miss the snow, but I do miss the steamed crabs ) (there are blue crabs in the ocean on the SC coast, but we are too far from the coast, they do sell Old Bay seasoning here though)

Well, and since you're from the east coast (MD area), if the east-coast posts are to be believed, it will be easy ! You just blindfold yourself, throw a rock in any direction, and it will land within 5 ft. of an LC. Right ?
