Where to hunt?

Going on a long awaited vacation march 15 to 22 totataly to metal detect.
Need some advise from vetraen hunters on beaches from Dana Point to San Diego. Dont want to waste time looking at junk sites. Without giving away your best or favorite spots, any advise will be greatly appreciated! Havent had much chance to hunt last three years and seldom get to a beach. Need to scatch the itch bad!

Google the busiest beach where your going. Narrow it down by using photos. Then you have your spot
