dry sand scoop ??

i kind of searched on here but didnt get the answers i was looking for. if there is some threads you can send me the link, thanks.

i am looking for a pretty sturdy dry sand scoop to obviously use at the beach as well as sand/ tot lots.

i am thinking the pull scoops are better for this. what do you guys think? and what is a recommended length and material and brand? thanks again.

the RTG is a good scoop for dry sand.. and very sturdy.

can you specify which one? i have the 6" alum travel water scoop at the moment, i thing its too big or dry sand/ lots. thanks

For dry sand you want to get a scoop that has a wire basket look to it. The sand falls right out of these without even shaking. Stick with a long handle. Bending over is fatiguing. RTG does sell one. Their wire basket scoop is sturdy enough to push on with your foot. Some cheap competitors out there make scoops that will crush when pushed on with the foot.

Whats better the 90° or 20° position for a longer handle scoop. 20-30".??
