Anyone out there swinging one? Seen one in person? Another forum has a discussion on these detectors. Just looking for some first person experience with them.

The Blisstool detectors are definitely deep seeking machines and sensitive to small objects.

We got few users in the Finnish detecting forum and one of the user have found plenty of old coins and relics with this detector.

Reading the link sounds like the E trac guys. Lol. J/K. I want a e trac. I would like to see one of these in person at work.

We have someone over here trying to "push" these machines. There's lots
of videos on Youtube making fantastic claims on their capabilities.
The problem being, these claims are all made by the manufacturers
themselves. I have yet to see an independent review.

They do look very "70's" in design.

The Blisstool sales team seem to have gone quiet on here.

They are still at it on the UK forums. With the distributors and their friends
doing their best to get people to buy them.

Still very few (if any) independent reviews

Yep, used it.. Didn't like it. Will hold onto it for Beaches (clean ones).
Bloody thing is HORRIBLE in even 'moderately trashy' areas. A tiny piece of bunched up foil sounds like a Silver coin. I think if it actually had 'proximity' tone, then it would help a LOT, but without it, this thing is useless to me... Super deep, gotta' give it that, but you NEVER know how deep anything is when you get a signal. Used it in a place with VERY old coins and dug trash almost every time. The E-Trac, V3i and ATPRO did much better finding the 'good stuff'. It's a very frustrating machine IMO...

The Blisstoolusa web site states the machine is not for everyone
and not reccamended for parks

Thy were slow to get State side and are just getting to the average joe.

Thy do seem to run deep and seem to do well in hot soil.
One poster said he can hit a coat button at 10 inches in his test garden .
He said no other VLF machine has ever done this with any coil combo
and he has tried all the top brands on it.

Alan i dont think so. He is rerspected and has done many Video with most
of the machines he has owned.
He has said he is getting tired of doing them because if he says anything bad said
about any machine he gets a flood of E mail calling him a liar.
He said it got so bad he offered to pay a guy one way to come to his
hunting ground and see for himself.
The offer was turned down.

Sorry, my mistake. :surrender:

It's just that here in the UK, there is a lot of scepticism regarding the claims
made about this machine. With certain people pointing to YouTube videos
posted by the makers and distributors, saying how wonderful it is.

I may have been doing this machine a disservice ?.

I was speaking yesterday to a friend who has used one. He said yes, it is
very deep with finds, but is an absolute nightmare to set up. As the setting
of every knob is dependant on each of the other knobs.

He was saying that his mate bought one, and he has experience of most of
the top machines. He gave up on it and sold it, as it was so difficult to set
up properly.

Definitely not for someone who is used to a turn on and go machine,

I was thilled at first to see a detector that could find stuff so deep. I liked it a lot, than I started analyzing how much did I really want to dig? I mean there are other detectors out there that can find the deepest object (mostly built to find relics) but very few are good to the average hobbist.
As for now I wouldn't get a blisstool even if it was an easy to set detector. I just couldn't stand digging a 15in hole every time.

Yes, this machine was never touted as being a park machine.

The claims:

1) It goes deep.

2) It discriminates iron quite well.

3) It handles devil soil and wet salt sand with ease

If they ever modulate the sound on this thing so I can infer depth from the sound, it may be the deep machine I have been dreaming of for my deep silver park.
(In my deep silver park, pull tabs stop at about 6 inches. Everything below that it's a relic, a coin, or a rusty nail)

I have seen an independent review on FB page by a respected user ,he did not like the machine on the beach , hated it. There was a lot of hype going around about this machine before ......................
