Hi im new and am still deciding on what detector to buy. I live in southern Ca. Im looking for one $500 or less. I want to go look for gold. The two I have been looking at are the Fisher Gold Bug or Whites GMZ Metal Detector. Which is better? Is there a better one out there I am not considering?

The Gold Bug is also a great relic detector and coin detector. More bang for the buck!!

The fisher gold bug pro has dual processors and a very quiet running machine. Most high frequency gold machines are noisy. It also is a great coin machine. Specially in heavy iron. Does a great job on masked coins. I LOVE the Gold bug pro.
