Went back to the honey hole last week to see If I could squeeze out a few more goodies. Luckily the honey was still trickling and I was able to pull out a few dingers for a couple of hunts before the spot got sanded in again. The 18k(750) ear ring weighs 1 gram, 14k bracelet weighs 5 grams, and the 14k cross weighs 2.8 grams. Couldn't find a marking on the cross so I gave it the o'l acid test and it passed for 14k. Also found my first set of partial dentures, pretty gross eh?:D I think there might be some gold on them, not sure though...Thanks for looking, GL & HH!

I'm using a Minelab Sovereign GT with stock 10" tornado coil. I like the SEF 10X12 butterfly coil too. If your not going in the water this is a great machine to use on the wet sand, pretty much the same as the Excaliber except for the control box is not water proof. You can usually find used ones on Ebay for pretty cheap..Hip mounted is the way to go with this machine, otherwise it can be kinda heavy on long hunts..

:dingding: What a sweet SWEET bracelet! :wow: Congrats on some nice targets!

Thanks man i am thinking to buy a minelab equinox

Equinox works good for the beach too from what I've seen posted by other beach hunters, plus you have a nice warranty too in case something breaks on the machine. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the VDI numbers on the equinox though when beach hunting, I've heard that some gold rings can fall under the zinc penny numbers..

Awesome finds boy that bracket looks like 18k too buttery congrats

Thanks OBN!

Are the replica coins in the bracelet hollow?

Not hollow but very thin

That gold bracelet is awesome as are the rest of the finds. Congrats! Are those real gold coins on the bracelet? If so, they could be 24k maybe.

I think you need a hunting buddy..... I've got a monkey on my back lately
