I've read a few threads so I'll give my age for the average age 42. I'm using a bounty hunter challenger please don't judge me. I got a gift card to bass pro and figured I had enough hunting, fishing, camping, boating gear so I would try something new. Been at it for about a week and a half and have paid for a set of batteries so far with my finds.
A little silver pendant, and $.85 in clad, but I have learned so much about my local area it's paid off. I have done some research and located a couple of areas I will try this weekend so fingers crossed. If this addiction doesn't wear off a little I think I may need an intervention. I carry my detector with me everywhere and find any excuse to pull it out I feel like a teenage boy in a brothel.
