The western fires are putting a dent in my hunting. The forests are closed and so are most of Tahoe’s beaches. It made for a long drive to find an open beach today. I pulled a couple rings and a Merc! Then I got to see Air Force One when I got home. Flew directly above my house!

Congrats! Finding a Merc in Tahoe of all places! Nice!

Thanks, it was in a moderate black sand beach. I’ve been there numerous times and used the gold mode this time. It’s hard hunting in Tahoe’s black sand, probably why I missed it a few times before. Lots of falsing in the black sand.

Yep, I know😄

Nice hunting Chris! Yeah smoke is bad for sure. Didn’t know they closed a lot of the beaches, congrats on the nice Merc and silver ring!

Great recovery. Got love those Mercs....totally a roaring 20's vibe.

AF1 was pretty neat too. Think about it. You saw a really rare aircraft that transports #1 of the 331,000,000 US citizens.
