Finally was able to swing the detector as the local State Park opened up detecting the day after Labor Day. Started out in light rain that let up after a little bit. Found about $7.71 in clad, a couple of junk rings, zippers, pulltabs, bottlecaps, etc and a cool metal toy Navy Jet. Sadly, the towel line was sanded in.

Happy you got out. That is what I call fresh drops !

That's a very nice and respectable clad count! Love the Phantom as well.

well, look at the bright side: If the averages of gold rings per clad are 100 to 1, then that means that on the next trip, you are OWED a gold ring now

wow! You weren't watching when they dropped them were you? Fresh meat.

Unh Unh. This place is off-limits to MDing from Memorial day to Labor Day and, with surrounding beaches Covid closed or forbidden to detect, this place was packed with beachgoers much more than normal. And with the rain on opening MD day there were only a few of us hitting it so...more $ for me.
