An old model train car

A friend dug this model train car in a turn of the century bottle dump near Butte, MT. I am interested in the age, who made it, and what it may have looked like when in better condition. I have more photos but having trouble posting them, may need resized. The car is about 18” long. Any help greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Jardine

Darn, I found a photo that looks pretty close but couldn’t access the description, but this one was maybe made by Kenton?

NHBenz, I believe that is the exact car. Excellent eye and nice work. If I find out any particulars about the car I will post it here.

Well, I was able to find the listing but it was lacking in detail. It lists it as from the 1920’s. I don’t know enough one way or the other to say if that’s correct, but it seemed like others similar to it were said to be a bit earlier.
