Found this spoon the other day. It had green patina on it so I assumed it wasn't anything special and threw it in the bag. Cleaned it up last night and found that it had a date on it; April 21 1836. Jumping with joy for my oldest find, my wife quickly burst my bubble when she looked it up. It's a centennial commemorative spoon from a jeweler in Dallas. But 1936 is still pretty awesome. A few hours over two days of digging got me a few wheats (oldest a 1919), a silver 44 nickel, 67 quarter, a pocket knife and what looks like a button. Oh, and Tim's dog tag.

It's got a 90 degree bend in it. I have an itch to straighten it, but I never have luck with trying to repair my finds.
