Wheats, injuns and a musket ball

Today I went back to the tearout to spend some more time since it wasn't raining.
I worked the curbstrip and got permission on a front yard of a house built in 1906
Totals for the day include three nice old wheaties and two injuns.
This makes 9 injuns in the past week, love it!

I also found a deep old 60 caliber musketball.
Any idea why it has all the little "marks" on it?

When I hunted the guys front yard (8' x 40') I dug two wheats and an injun at only 4-5" deep

Good score again mat, congrats! Im guessing impurities in the lead shot caused the dimples in the .60 cal. Nice piece of history there.
