Default little treasures

I love finding treasure, but I also like finding the little interesting things. It is just 'fun' while waiting for 'the big one'!

It's the "whatsit" factor of the little treasures that gets me. Pulling things out of the ground that make me go, "What is that"? Like the old Swastika good luck coin I found. I didn't know that it was a good luck sign that was stolen and used by the Nazi party, giving it the bad "name" it has today. Or when I find a coin that has no good reason to be where I found it. Like the Jamaican coin, I found in a tot lot the other day. Stuff like that just blows me away...

Yea, it is the little things that keep you going.

The Fobs, the Tootsies, the lead figures and all the whatsits are telling us of the past. History is treasure that should be welcomed and embraced. Congrats on finding your share. Trapper
