Good day,

Currently buried in snow :( and using the time to get my beginner bearings with my new "toy". I have wanted my latest Christmas gift (ACE 150) for years....and chomping at the bit.

I've been buying my accessories ...pin pointer, trowel, spade etc.


What are your "HAVE to HAVE" pieces of equipment ???
 
Welcome! My “have to have” is my detector, headphones, Long handled shovel, lesche, pinpointer and finds pouch.

Sounds like you got most of the basics covered, some will say "pinpointer" and some might say "pinpointer not needed" :lol:

Welcome from the Finger Lakes.....:yes: (Sounds like all you need is a finds pouch, and you're good to go. You anywhere near Algonquin Park?)
 
Finds from northern Ontario should be interesting for sure... Might even have a good chance to find some native copper culture artifacts or trade silver..

I spent a lot of time near Nakina, beautiful up there...

I'd get a mosquito net for when the weather breaks..
