Minelab MPX. Thoughts?

Not really in the market for a spare MD, but this Minelab MPX is being sold for $100 and I have a bad habit of spending money when I see a good deal. From the pics it looks good but I hear it's a little on the heavy side.

Thoughts?

Its not a minelab its a china cheapie , no way its worth $100 especially if its used. I would walk away from that deal as fast as I could.

I had my suspicions since he bought it from KellyCo. How can you tell it's a knockoff from the pics? He's dropped the price from $275 to $175 to $100 over the past couple months.

It's not really a knock off, just a not so good quality detector. It is from MP I believe, nothing to do with Minelab.

No such thing as a Minelab MPX as far as I know.
