Well, I just thought I dug a lot of targets yesterday. I did 5 hours at the same spot today and dug more clad, 3 wheats, 2 tokens, more toys and another junk ring, but the ring is a bit of a mystery. The clad total was nearly $5 with 116 pennies on the day. Total of 160 coins on the day. I got a large Beau Rivage $1 Casino Token and a Grand Casino Arcade Token (both tokens from Biloxi, MS).

Coolest find was a miniature bicycle toy. Pedals work and tires are there, but rims rusted away. Also got a Solid Brass military style buckle.

I finished the 5 hours and headed home, but a traffic jam rerouted me near an old area I use to hunt so I stopped for an hour and scored two silvers: 1963D Rosie, 1945 Merc. Silver slump over!:yes::yes:

I also picked up 2 more wheats and a Peruvian 20 Centimos Coin. That traffic jam saved the day.

The penny stacks on the right are 5 deep in the pic.

It was a great day, but now I may need medical attention for my elbow. I think I've got MD'er elbow!

The trash pile is for DIGGER27, even though I dug about 100 pull tabs gold did not make an appearance...I hate you! IJK...lol.

Wow... You were recovering at a rate of well over a target per minute. That in itself is really impressive. Funny that you got all the good finds in a totally different area after you dug up all those pennies; maybe you'll be able to detect deeper and better targets now that all the pennies are out of the way? Great hunt!

nice coin totals but you seemed to have dug a lot of junk too. thought those omegas filtered most of the junk out? just asking.

I dig everything when looking for jewelry. I could have set the machine discrim higher or notched some stuff out and avoided most of the trash, but I only notched out iron. I like digging, like a kid. Easy here in Florida with sandy soil. May change my approach when I get to Kansas next month.

The soil ain't sand, but it's still easy digging.
About that disc...want me to show you the silver chains and gold rings I found at foil?
