Recovery Speed vs Sweep Speed

I've noticed on my DFX that the audio tone when a target is detected seems to be behind a bit. That is to say on a swing from right to left I get a tone over the target but on my back swing the tone sounds at a little different location. Like the tone is lagging or delayed a bit.

Maybe my swing is too fast or can I adjust the recovery speed or sweep speed? Also the tone seems to be broader or last longer making targets seem bigger than they are.

adjust your sweep speed higher for faster recovery

Might be a micro-processor lag..one of my detectors does the same thing. Roadrunner_426

been reading the book digging deeper with the dfx,,

higher sweep speeds dont mean faster recovery.

will get back to you on a better solution

hi been useing an xp goldmaxx very fast processor although sweep speed needs to be mellow.still very fast recovery speed makes up for one slowing down a bit
