Are there 1965 silvers (similar to steel 1944 pennies)?

AD, of course!
Wait...weren't we talking about Chinese coins???

Also keep your eye out for 1942-s silver nickles that have the 1941 reverse. Instead of the mint mark above Montecello,it's off to the right.

Found a 1966 dime that is so shiny it looks silver. What's up with that? Oddly found a 1967 dime at the same location and the date is messed up where the 7 is almost off the edge. In fact I keep looking and debating if its a 1 or a 7. Is that a valuable error?

No, steel 1944s do exist. They're more common than bronze 1943s, though still worth thousands of dollars.

And do you have any proof that there were absolutely zero silver blanks that got stamped 1965? Unless every single mint made a point to run through every single silver blank they had before changing the dates and adding new blanks, it has to have happened at least once.

That 1944 steel penny, is something that would give me a heart attack if I found one. They value between $70,000 and $100,000 depending on condition....
