I'm researching a site with military significances that dates to the late 1800's. Interestingly the only people familiar with it are local "old timers" ... While searching for some "Official" info about the site I came across this website which contains numerous links to Military historical reference sites ... incidentally, the site I'm researching doesn't appear in any of the resources I've looked at so far. I've walked this sites many times but never with a MD. I'm really looking forward to spring to get out to this site to see what I can find.

Have you tried Sanborn maps? Some that I have looked at show old military reservations.

Thanks again ... unfortunately that password isn't working any longer ... there were some posts about it last week and it was said you can still access it through your library ... I'm going to check it out

I just got on with it. It still works.
