This was a hunt from a few months back. My coworkers mother has somewhere around twenty-five rental houses that are virtually always occupied. One became available, so we stopped by. The evicted tenets were apparently filth-mongers. There was trash everywhere. Near the back yard porch it was literally ankle deep. Good news for us though; people like that enjoy watering the lawn with loose change. It was a hot day, but every time we were winding down, one of us would find a quarter. We each got a wheat penny (his first, my fourth total) and that really motivated us for "just ten more holes." I cannot recall his total, but mine was one hundred and sixteen coins equaling $4.34. Chump change, but it was the most I have found still, so I was happy. Two days later I drove by and saw some people outside. I called my coworker to ask if there were workers cleaning up, but his mother had already rented it back out. No follow up digs there haha.
