ok all you cz guys if you were going to use it to hunt only in the ocean and wet sand which coil would you prefer and how do they handle black sand thanks

8" gets better separation in trash. 10" gets better depth and coverage.

I'm for the extra 2". For me when you have vast expanses of beach and water I prefer coverage.

Totally agree. I had both and would never go back to a smaller coil. You can cover way more ground with the 10.5"

I have an 8" on another machine for totally trashy areas on drop offs. Never use it for beach hunting

I use the 8" coil and like it. I've never used the 10" coil so just for my 2 cents worth, the 8" is really good to use.

I have the 10.5" coil. 8" feels tiny on a beach.
