What is the best knife you found metal detecting?

Our Brother Sturrat found a beauty of a silver Tiffany Knife with 18k embossing a few months ago in the water...Sheesh, Great knives Boys!

NICE !
Solid Silver circa 1860 found in Galveston TX using Lobo SuperTRAC

These knives were called "fruit knives" used for peeling and cutting acidic table fruit before the advent of Stainless Steel, Ceramics, Kryptonite, (pre Clark Kent of course) and other non corrosive metals.

My best knife find is this Case XX with the Harley Davidson emblem on it. It was a beach find in the dry sand as I was quitting for the day. There was a pocket spill of over a dollar in clad with the knife.

I found this about a year ago. It's now my EDC (since I lost my Leatherman while metal detecting a local high school a few months ago). Made by Benchmade, apparently.

Found a lot of knives over the years but I don't really have a favorite.

If I had to chose one it would be this one I found in an old shed on a property where the house had fallen down and most the shed. It was stuck in a beam at the top of the wall.

I found this 19th century knife with silver handle 2012 in Southamerica .
Unfortunately I broke the blade when I took it out of the ground.

Not as cool as some of the other finds here, but this is the best-preserved knife I've dug up - a Case folding knife from the early 1970s. The spring is a little rusted, but after a little oiling it works nicely, and the blade is still clean and sharp.

knife blade

I have never found a complete knife but I just found a blade, and several weeks ago I found a handle of a butter knife. The key was brought up in my front yard when I was cleaning up nails. Now all I have to do is find the chest of gold coins it opens. It has the letter V cast into its design.
