Whats wrong with my etrac?

Hey all you etrac users. My etrac headphones only work in the left ear. I changed headphones and connector. Everything else works on the etrac.

What can it be??

Faulty wiring??

Something on the motherboard??

Any help, will be appreciated.

p.s. I bought it used. I don't think I have a warranty.

If you changed headphones did you need the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter? If you put one of these on it has to be a stereo adapter with 2 rings on the little shaft. If it only has 1 ring then it's mono and you'll only get sound out of 1 ear piece. If it's not the adapter then i dunno...

tried both adapters, still only the left ear.

the problem may be in the female plug on the etrac.

Yep. If the headphones are good and you have a stereo adapter i'd guess its in the female plug. Maybe one of the pins inside got bent and isn't making good contact. Have you tried wiggling the plug while its on and see if it tries to come in any?
