Can’t be much of a weight difference? The 800 is already very light.

I believe you can tell a difference... not to mention there is NO wiggle and plenty of stick. No real locks to go south on you either.

The fact that users still have to find alternatives for a bad shaft design because of wobble, stupid twist cams, or even length is just proof that detector companies still don't give a !!!!. Nothing like another 100 bucks for a shaft.
