Went down to the river today to see how it looks. I think it is still a bit chilly for me, although the ice is leaving. End of this month or middle of next month I will be out I am hoping. This is what I saw today.

You can see by how fast the ice is traveling, how swift this current is here.

I still refuse to dive and turn into a Bobcicle.

You're going to let a little bitty ice stop you?

So that's what ice looks like in the wild, bugger that! ....only ice we get here is in the freezer.

Yea, This is what you see a few folks on the other side of the state play in but worse. And one south of me that likes his AT-Pro frozen. I look at it from a distance now and wait for it to go away.

Love the water in winter, can get by with 2mm wetsuit.

Yea, I am itching to get my boat in its slip so I can get out and play. I will wade when it is a little warmer but I want to get out to party central and not freeze driving out there and back.

I was out on the water yesterday and your right. It was a very chilly ride. My face was frozen, Air temp 40's. water was fine at 44...
