I'm having trouble pinpointing with the stock coil.
It doesn't point in the center like my MXT.
If I get one of the other coils available will that help?
All help is welcome,THANK YOU!

Yes, use the front half of the inside coil. The Ace250 will give a "full bar" reading when the object you are pinpointing is touching or inside the inner coil. If you find an object, bring the Ace back toward yourself, hit the pinpoint and move toward the target again. When you get the strongest pinpoint signal, your target is somewhere on the front arc of that inner coil. When I want want to further narrow my search area, such as for a small object, I will do the same pinpointing technique from the left or the right as well to create a grid of sorts. When you come from the side, the Ace will give you the strongest signal when the target is touching the left or right side of the inner coil, depending on which direction you come from.

When I first started with the Ace250, I was confused by the pinpointing directions because they all said "use the tip". I have found that the entire front half of the inner coil is the hot spot, not just the tip.
