Maybe try some pepto or a good antacid? Has always worked for me -

Gas bubbling, as in contamination in the coin minting process, creating a lamination error? Or, coin has been greatly heated, like a fire, causing blisters in the metal. I've heard of that, but it's also possible for other denoms of clad coins for that to happen.
