Arkansas Treasure Hunters Club Outing 10-17-09

Hi Folks,

I headed to Ward early this mornin. They had a nice
sun rise,

We have been trying to get the Arkansas Treasure
Hunters Club Going....... I have been sentenced to
vice president.

After a club meeting at the courthouse I took some
photos from our club outing.

We had a Whites DFX and 2 Whites MXTs, a couple
of Ace 250s, a Fisher CZ 70 and I used my Tesoro
Vaquero.

Here they are getting ready,

On your Mark,,,,,, Set,,,,,,

GO!!!

I did not find any thing outstanding, but we all had
a really good time. Something I found that is kind of
interesting is this old token with a patent date of
May 15, 1923.

I found tha bridle, but could not find tha mule???

And there was tha usual stuff,

I met some real nice folks. I am grateful for every
one being there and joining in on the fun.

I did not get a photo of anyone elses finds. One fella
found an arrow head while digging a target. I never
saw a piece of flint.......... That point may have been
dropped or shot???

Looks like everyone had a fun time and thats what it is all about . congrats on the new club wish we had one close to me here in Missouri . Think the closest one to me is four hours away . Thanks for sharing the great pictures with us .

If you don't have one, start one. You'd be surprised at how many people might be interested. Sometimes clubs can get into places a single person can't.

Man, that looked like fun. I am hopefully getting a couple of hours in tomorrow after a 3 or 4 month hiatus. Can't wait!

Good for you Tabdog... looks like a nice group. That sunrise is stupendous - and something people who sleep in never see. Hunters, Md'rs, some fishermen see those sights - really makes getting up early worthwhile. RickO

Looks like a fun time. Ive dug a few of those aluminum star tokens also. I think they were making them for some time because they were all diferent.
