What’s the best way to clean them inside? I found 1 detecting last night that was made from 1938-1951 and it’s filthy inside. Soap and water just ain’t working.

I've had to clean wine bottles out that have had dried wine and gunk in them before. What worked for me was to put about 3/4" of fish tank gravel (clean of course) in it and enough water to cover the gravel plus 1/4" or so. Cover the top with your hand and shake the "be-Jesus" out of it, swirl it around, etc. Always worked. Give it a try.

Nice bottle! It does look great with the light in that photo.

To clean bottles like was said, aquarium gravel, but uncooked rice or popcorn work if you don't have gravel.

I use a bottle brush to clean out my old bottles. Shhh! Don't tell my girlfriend though, she bought it for cleaning out her water bottles and will force me to buy her a new one. 😯
