Got out yesterday afternoon for a few hours, went back to the 1915 corner lot. Great I got out, bad I missed the UPS man, he was delivering my E-trac. Hafta wait till Monday now. Working the grass next to the road the topsoil was only about 3in. on top of reddog. Everything around here was reddog before it was paved. Managed 2.10 in clad had a few heart-jacks with a 92 on the AT Pro, solid signals but alas no big silver. One was a marker off a telepole. one a band tag, and the other I thought was a condom can. Saw a post here today a guy dug a similar one . Its a small compact. Dug two more wheaties, thats 16 from this site and 96 fty. Getting an 85 at 6in. I was hoping for silver, digging into the reddog I saw what I thought was a piece of aluminum scrap as it was whited out and looked to have jagged edges but when I turned it over and saw the wings and OH MAN YES ! Cross this one off the list. CPT stands for Civilian Pilot Training. WWII era. Saw them on e-bay for anywhere between 100 and 135. I think I'll keep it. Cool factor is way beyond that. That was # 5 for the year and I can't wait to see what I am able to find with my new machine. Till next time good luck to all and HH Mark
