Thanks for posting. Now put that nox down and start gettin' me some Learnin' on the anfibio. Lol

I have submitted email getting approval to start talking and showing videos.

Will try to make a few tomorrow and have ready, hopefully I will get a green light.
I also have both smaller elliptical coils coming Monday for Anfibio.

I will do many videos with Anfibio.

You are getting along well with that Gopro!

No real complaints as far as videos thus far. So maybe they are O.k at least.
Rememeber I am narrating trying to reach even beginners. Some of the narration could be boring to some more experimenced folks.

But I will not change my style.
You see what you get.

Some in field video, I need to do some of it too. Rifle deer season opens Sat, gotta be careful where Ingo for a while.
Do have some places to go, will wear orange though just in case.

Good morning tnss .. this is something that I've thought about and not tested myself... Ok when you showed how equinox does better on nickel that is masked similar to etrac doing better with silver dime.. ok since the park 1 field 1 programs are supposed to be weighted to lower frequencies over park 2 and field 2 higher frequencies do ya think that the equinox can do better on the dime while masked like in your video? Or maybe off camera you tried it and showed no difference. Just curious.

I did play around with other park and field modes on the test. As far as I could tell, I couldn’t see/hear anything that would suggest say using park 1or field 1 (lower freq) weighted would give me something tonally to make me investigate the nonferrous target used in test.

I may do another video and show, when you start showing mukitple detect modes in a video, it can easily make the video LONG.

Now maybe if the distance of masker (say nail) was just at the right distance maybe some extreme minute additional positive performance could be gotten. We might be reallly splitting hairs here though.

Good vid Tnss. I did a little test the other day with my 6" coil on a clad quarter that I've had buried 6" down for almost a year. First I wanted to see how low I could go on sensitivity and still pick it up. I had the nox in park 2, IB 0, speed at 6. I could just pick up the quarter at 16 sense. Then I tried a slower speed setting and sure enough it would pick up at 14 sense. So then I tried all the speed settings, BUT I hadn't changed my sweep speed...just did my usual 1 thousand 1 sweep from left to right. One thing I found interesting was that in the higher sweep speeds, 6-8, if I really started whipping the coil back and forth much faster than I normally swing, I could reliably pick up the quarter at 15 and even 14 on the sense!

Yes, sometimes a faster sweep will improve odds of picking up target.
Likely though detector is not set up more ideal for depth of target in question.
It is something to be mindful of though. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Tnss . I did try 5kHz in my quick test and I seemed to do better than multi with all settings same... I did read where Tex on Tom's forum said he used threshold and went slow and it seemed to make the better targets jump out better.. at this point the nox does 98% of what my deus does in iron. But is more versatile in many other areas. I'd love to walk into a iron heavy site with my nox and know exactly what settings to use to get the most out of it.. I'm doing better . Great videos from you and Calabash and very much appreciated.

I may have to take a few days and drive down and bring my gear to do some testing in your dirt with my deus and both d35 coils along with nox. My Ohio dirt is fairly mild..

Hard for me to explain. A good signal has a certain signature. Stands out from iron. Volume of nonferrous hit usually at least a tad lower than ferrous false. Sometimes nonferrous reports a lot lower.
