Hey everyone,
I seem to find a lot of marbles while detecting. I was bored this weekend so I counted them all at had 557 of them. About 75% were found in demo sites or old lots. The ones found in parks were mostly surface finds thanks for gophers or renovations. I keep them in old Ball jars and they make for nice decorations on the shelf.

Enjoy,
Jason

That's a boatload, I especially love the Benningtons (blue to be specific).

There was more than I thought there would be.
You find marbles like you find silver Jason:lol: Impressive collection!
Thanks Bruce. Almost a 2 silver to 1 marble ratio.

Thanks Dew. Kids don't play with stuff like marbles much anymore which is too bad.

Those are pretty cool Jason!
Thanks Sean!

Yeah the blue Bennington is one of my favorites. It would be fun to see all yours in a post. I am sure you have a good collection.

Challenge accepted!!
Want me to add them here aka hijack?

No, I have no idea. I don't really know much about marbles.

In your fourth picture, you have some RR marbles..

They were developed back in the day to help move/unload certain things...

They are the greenish bluish ones with bubbles, and imperfections...
