More than once. That is the only design weakness I believe to that unit. Getting it to seal properly EVERY time is a mission. The Sand Shark clamps easily and securely EVERY time I take out the batteries to re-charge them. Recently my batteries weren't making good contact in the SS on a hunt. I got out of the water, opened her up, took out the battery case and pulled up on the battery spring/clamp terminals.Battery pack back in, closed her right up and continued hunting. I could never do field work like that on the CZ and be comfortable that water wouldn't just leak into the compartment.
