I keep thinking that I have put the detector up for the season, but the weather has been so mild that I keep getting it out. On my way home from work today, I hit a city park for a quick hunt. Normal clad... then a nice 89-90 signal that I thought was probably a couple of stacked quarters. Was pleasantly surprised with this nice Harley Davidson Sterling ring. 12g. Thanks for looking. Good start to the silver ring count for the new year!

Yep, that qualifies as a Honker! Cool design, too, very unique and will draw some commentary.

You might find an after-market for that one, too. :) They're $90 new, though it appears your cleaning methods stripped away the blacking (antiquing) behind the words... don't know how that'll impact any sale. That's, of course, only if you intended to sell!

I did use some toothpaste on it to polish it up. Just going to hold on to it. (At least until I find a heavier one) Thanks for all the comments. It was fun to find!

Very cool find. Liver of sulpher painted on the background will blacken it. Then polish highlights.
I was a jeweler and Silversmith for many years.
