The thing is though if I were paying rent my landlord would not make me clean my room, vacuum the house or take the trash out... Kid might be better off just paying the rent :lol::lol::lol:

Maybe not. But if you had room mates, as it indicates in the letter, you would have to pay your share and do your share of the chores.
 
And the landlord could evict you for failing to address a cleanliness problem.

I think at 13 I would have welcomed an eviction. I’m 37 now and my dad has grown up a lot though :lol: still glad I don’t live at home though. :laughing:

That is a smart mom none the less. As a father I know the value of always proving your point. She did well at breaking it down and showing the reality of the situation.
