The legendary flute player from the Moody Blueshas died at 76.. had the pleasure of seeing the band several times over the decades, once from the front row.. old ray really didn't seem to have a very large part in the band until he played the flute solos in such songs as : for my lady, nights in white satin and hauntingly beautiful legend of a mind. All of which would drop your chin to the floor and just say WOW ,that was cool.. if you've every seen him hen you know... he hasn't been touring with the band since 2000 and unfortunately be around to see the band very much deservedly be inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame.
