Here are two photos of my latest hunt. Can you guess what the item is that is enlarged. The arrow points to it in the larger photo.

HINT 1: It is part metal and part something else and has some sand stuck to hit.

It's quite a useful item. Off to bed but I'll check in the morning to see if anyone guessed it!

Hint 2: It's complete, not broken, though it does have sand stuck to it. The sticky part could be Hint 3.

Tea candle. Looks cool on a paddle board at night until you step on it lit. Safer to use glow sticks

I find those quite often. Used to wonder what the heck they were. It's a candle from one of those sky lanterns they launch at the beach on the 4th of July.
