Has anyone used the fisher f-70 at the beach in wet sand? If so how were your results? I have a Garrett AT pro and a gold. The gold chatters way too much in the wet sand. The pro is marginal. I'm thinking a pulse machine but I want a good one with a reasonable price

I have an F70 and took it to the beach last spring when we went on vacation. It seemed to work well on the wet sand. I didn't find much of anything, but dug a few pulltabs and bottlecaps at around 7 or 8" deep if I'm remembering correctly. I'm thinking you should get a pulse or multi-frequency VLF - a machine that's actually designed to work well in salt environments.
