Despite the very dry weather I was able to make it out for a couple of hours in a field.
I was able to find a few good signals. One of them looks like either a part of a lipstick tube or a very large Rimfire cartridge larger than a 45. I also found a brass ring a couple of Indian Head pennies a ball button. And while filling in one of my holes laying in my pile of dirt was a Arrowhead that was a bonus find.

But one of the coolest finds of the day was an oil token with the initials HYVIS. From what I have been able to find out the oil company is from Pennsylvania the tokens are from the 20s and 30s. What makes this one unique is it appears someone had used it for target practice.

Awesome that you’re still able to get into a couple of your fields! All my permissions are planted, and it’s been far too dry to consider hunting anywhere else - end result is that I haven’t been out for a couple weeks. Going stir crazy!

Wonderful finds! The token is a cool save - the fact that it appears to have taken a round just adds some character! I wonder if he was originally going for a “bull’s eye” on the cross hair of the token

Gotta love the arrowhead to match the Indians, too! The brass ring is very interesting - I haven’t found one of those yet. Great digs!
