Finally. Finally. Hit the lake after work yesterday, tides been pretty low for this time of year. Been a lot of depositors this year also. We had a freak thundershower before I got off and after checking the radar, I noticed that we had a NE wind. In June. In Louisiana. Yep, had to do it. Started out waist deep, 1st target was the quarter. Moved along without hitting much else but trash. Decided to work in closer, got to just over my ankles and got a foil tone on the Excal. Looked in the scoop, is that yellow I see? Yep, finally, 1st gold of the year. Looked inside and see a 1 and a K. Had to check it with a loupe this morning to make sure. Man, this thing has seen some wear. Acid tested at 14K. 1.2 grams, but, it's yellow and I'll not complain about that. Keep on keeping on and HH.
